New to the five-star Cape Town hotel market is the 180-room Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa, an African Pride Hotels property, which is the luxury collection division of Protea Hotels.

The hotel is located in Cape Town's Century City urban hub, alongside a palm-lined canal with views across Table Mountain. The foyer features curtains of fibre optic lighting and a carpet studded with lights.

Numerous facilities include a spa, restaurant, 24-hour bar and trained staff. Rooms feature mood-enhancing lighting, designer dcor and original works of art. The property also has a conference hub that offers the latest in conferencing and meeting facilities, from private boardrooms for 20 people up to one room for 300 people, which can be customised according to the guest's requirements.

A particularly eye-catching feature is the suspended 100m2 pool, which "floats" above the porte cochere and is visible to passing traffic.

Protea Hotels' superior luxury collection, African Pride Hotels, offers the highest international standards of service excellence, luxury accommodation and superior facilities across 16 hotels, safari lodges and country houses in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Hermanus, Cape Winelands, Durban, Nairobi and Namibia.

Another new addition is the stylish and sophisticated 15 on Orange Hotel in Cape Town.
